Abstract: A nonequilibrium ultrathin-layer polyacrylamide gel isoelectric focusing(ULPAGIEF)method incorporating the chemical spacer HEPES was developed for simultaneous typing of Esterase D(EsD),Red Cell Acid Phosphatase(EAP)and Adenosine Deaminase (ADA)isoenzyme systems.UIPAG contained 4%(v/v)PH4-6.5 Ampholine and 3%(w/v) HEPES.This approach had high reso- lution capacity and great discriminating power of genetic markers.
