Abstract: The attrition of teeth was studied in 880 cases from the Liaoning province, China. The total number of teeth studied was 23, 672 in normal teeth. The ages range from 13 to 60 years old above. The new standard of seven graduations for teeth attritions was put farward, and obtained the frequent attrition degrees from the different age groups. There are two or three attrition degrees in every age group. The teeth frequently observed in the different attrition degrees were also point out. This paper shows that the left and right teeth in same aw are similar in the degrees of the attrition, but the teeth attritions, in the lower jaw is heavier than in the uppe jaw, We have faith in that the graduation standard for the attritions is good.
