Abstract: Detection of ABH substances in saliva is reported using the semiquantitative method of isohaemagglutination inhibition test(HAI test) for the pu rpose of determination the secrete status and the ABO blood group. Results were quite satisfactory. The relative amount of ABH substances in secretor saliva as well as the degree of antibody inhi bition were determined by comparison of the HAI titer.
