Abstract: The possibility of death time estimated by means of hepatic glycogen andglucose-6-phosphatase detection was investigated experimentally.40 rats wereevided into 4 groups:violence, acute drug poisoning, drowning and starva-tion.The results of the first three groups were as follows:The hepatic glycogen leveles determined by microspectrophotmetry werewell correlated with the death time as the equation y=47.13-31.391nX TheDifferences between groups of death time were significant This result will beuseful in the work of death time identifian. The glucose-6-phosphatase was thesame tendency as hepatic glycogen. And the group of starvation,as there wasno glycogen left in the liver,no significant chang could be seen at all.It ispossible to estimate the death time by means of hepatic glycogen and glucose--phosphatase detecting.
