Abstract: The distribution of the seventh component of complement phenotypes were studied by using the thin agarose gel isoelectric focusing (AGIEF) foll-owing immunoblotting technique in 203 Chinese Han populations in Liaoning area. The gene frequ-encies were as follows: C7~1=0.8215, C7~2=0.1108, C7~3=0.032, C7~4=0.032, respectively. The observed numbers of the phenotypes were in agreement with the expected numbers under the Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium. The gene frequencies among three area in China, and Chinese and Japanese populationss were compared.
