IMMUNOHISTOCHEMICAL STUDY 0F MYOGLOBIN IN EXPERIMENTAL EA-RLY MYOCARDIAL INFARCTION YAO JISHENG. ET AL. DEPARTMENT OF FORENSIC MEDICINE;SHANGHAI SECOND MEDICAL UNI-VERSITY;SHANGHAI.000 1992, 0(2): 49-51+9.  Abstract ( 1615 )   We produced the animal model of the early myocardial infarction (5 min to 24 h) by ligating the left anterior descending coronary artery of-rats. The immunohistochemical methods (PAP) of myoglobin antibody were performed to observe the myoglobin defects of myocytes in infarcting area of rat hearts. The results demonstrated that: Slight imcomplete myoglobin defects in few myo-cytes of infarcting area were noted at 30 min after coronary ligation. At 2-6h after coronary ligation, the limits of the myoglobin defects was extended and become ribbon strip or sheet in shape. At 10- 24h after ligation, the myoglobin defects of myoc-ytes in infarcting area attain total layer of myoc-ardium, the majority of myoglobin defects was complete and could be clearly differentieted from the non-infarcting area. SHENYANG;CHINA. 000 1992, 0(2): 51-53+9.  Abstract ( 1619 )   Myocardial myoglobin was studied immunohi stochemically in 12 dogs by ligation of left anterior descending coronary artery.The results showed a definite myoglobin loss from ischemic area follow-ing coronary occlusion for 60 min and 90 min. By comparison of immunoperoxidase staining with concomitant study of light microscope, depleties of myoglobin indicating myocardial ischemic lesion was demonstrated, while ischemic but not necrotic fibers stained relatively normally with eosin-hematoxylin. These findings suggested that immu-noperoxidase staining of myocardial myoglobin be used to detect early myocardial ischemic lesion. Related Articles | Metrics

CHINA 000 TOMOKO HIGASHI;SHIGEYUKI TSUNENARI;DAPARTMENT OF FORENSIC MEDICINE;KUMAMOTO UNIVERSITY MEDICAL SCHOOL;KUMAMOTO;JAPAN 1992, 0(2): 62-64+9.  Abstract ( 1675 )   The distribution of the seventh component of complement phenotypes were studied by using the thin agarose gel isoelectric focusing (AGIEF) foll-owing immunoblotting technique in 203 Chinese Han populations in Liaoning area. The gene frequ-encies were as follows: C7~1=0.8215, C7~2=0.1108, C7~3=0.032, C7~4=0.032, respectively. The observed numbers of the phenotypes were in agreement with the expected numbers under the Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium. ASSESSMENT OF RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE ALOCHOLlC 0FFENDERS HUO KEJUN ET AL.;WEST CHINA UNIVERSITY OF MODICAL SCIENCES;CHENGDU 1992, 0(2): 68-72+9.  Abstract ( 2038 )   16 cases of alcoholic offenders submitted ot forensic psychiatric assessment were analyzed. Among 16 defendants 13 were acute drunkenness, 3 were chronic alcoholism. As for the responsibility of the defendants, 2 (12.5%) were assessed as no responsibility, 2(12.5%)diminished responsibility, and 12 (75.0%) full responsibility. In assessment of responsibility for the alcoholic offenders, the judgement whether the offenders lack of the ability to aware the wrongfulness of their criminal behaviour and to control themselves should base on the comprehensive analysis of their history of drinking, the results of physical, neurologica and mental examination, multiple tests, motivational of offence, the premeditation and concealment of their criminal behaviour.
