Abstract: Abstract:The paper presented a review on posttraumatic myocardial infarction on the basis of the literatures published. Myocardial infarction might be caused by blunt chest trauma in which the left anterior descending coronary artery was most commonly involved in the accident. Primary posttraumatic myocardial infarction was manifested in most cases while delayed posttraumatic myocardial infarction in the some others. Several mechanisms might accounted for the occurence of the accident. Posttraumatic myocardial infarction is considered as one of the key matters in forensic medicine on which much emphasis should be placed.
