Abstract: Through the morphological observation of the various kindsof the wounds formed in the costal cartilage with variousthick sharp weapons, we discovered that the wounds inoutal cartilage are different from those in the skin and thebone. The wound width of costal cartilage does mot represent the thickness of a sharp weapon. The wound angle hasnot obvious characteristics of the blunt angle. So we havea new view of the judgment of the hop weapon by whichthe oostal cartilage was stabbed.
