Immunohistochemical Demonstration of Fibronectin in Myocytes of Sudden Manhood Death Syndrome

Abstract

Abstract: Immunohistochemical study of fibronectin (FN) was performed on the hearts of o cases of sudden manhood death syndromc (SMDS) and 11 cases of noncardiac death controls with LSAB-method. The results showed that FN was positive in cardiomyocytes of 3 cases of SMDS, but negative in all 11 non-cardiac death controls.It indicated that irreversible cell injury bad taken place in the 3 cases of SMDS,which.should be diagnosed as early myocardial infarction.This experiment provides a new approach for studying the causes of death of SMDS.
