Studies on the Analysis of Meperidine and its Main Metabolites in urine of Meperidine Addicts

Abstract

Abstract: Six meperidine metabolites are identified by GC/MS(EI, PCI) in the urine of meperidine addicts.A GC/FID procedure for determination of meperidine and its main metabolites in human urine is also developed. Calibration curve is lineat over the rang 0. 1-20ug/ml, me results reproducible (cv<10%), the sensitivity limit is about 50ng/ml.The method is shown to be applicable to measuring urine concentra-tion of meperidine addicts.
