Analysis of the Main Cannabis Metabolite THC-COOH

Abstract

Abstract: A procedure of detection and quantitation of THC-COOH,a major metabolite of THC in urine. has been described.Prior to extraction,the tubes must be silanized.The hydrolysis of urine is necessary.Derivatizing and selected ion monitoring are oboed out to increase the sensitivity of detection.TLC is rapid for a large number of sample analysises.The method of GC/MS is sensitive.selective and specific.
