Abstract: The possibility by means of gastrointestinal transit to estimate the survival time after administration of DDVP was tested on 90 Sprague-Dawley rats. Gastrointestinal transit was firmly related to survival time (r=0.9314, P<0.01) irrespective of doses and stomach filling. It will be a great advantage in identification in the field of forensic medicine.
