The Use of HLA, Gm, Km, and Bf in Paternity Testing: Analysis of 158 Cases

Abstract: A total of 158 paternity cases involved 175 putative fathers and 165 children.were typed for HLA, Gm, Km, and Bf.The number of the couple "father-child" was 185.64 couples in 185(35% )were excluded.The exclusion probabilities observed were 65.63% for HLA-A, 81.25% for HLA-B,30.51%for HLA-C, 26.32% for Gm, 5.26% for Km, and 25% for Bf, respectively.The total exclusion probability was 96.48%.Added to the probabbility obtained with ABO, MN, P, and Rh blood groups,it amounts to 97.94%.
