Abstract: We have several death cases of misuse detergent as a lubricant of rectum which was accused as malpractsine The detergent, in which the main component is alkylbenzene sulfonate(ABS), is now recognized as a medium toxic substance. But it is unknown whether the toxicity of detergent, when used as an enema According to the results obtained, because the toxicity is much more severe in basic situation than in acidic situation, the toxicity of seagull Detergent is much more intense in rectum than in stomach. The enema LD50 is 0.67g/kg as a medium toxic substance. So, this would he the reason of death causation when detergent be used as an enema.
