Abstract: Nerium indicum Mill, is a kind of plants of Apocynaceae. It was reported that several cardiacglycosides including nericorin, oleanerin and neriin were iscl ated from leaves and other parts of this plant. In criminal cases Nerium indicum Mill. is recognized to be a kind of most commonly seen toxic plants. In order to identify this plant, an- atomical studies are conducted on stems, barks, leaves and flowers. In our study it shows that some botanical characters are very important, e.g. bicollateral bundles, stomata and stoma pits, and crystals. In this paper, chemical analyses are also studied.
