Abstract: Traffic accidents play an important role in social problems over the years owing to the serious results of national finance and people's safeguard. The injury caused by traffic accidents relates to criminal responsibility and damage claim as well, and at the same time murders and suicides were involed in a few cases. The identification of injury in traffic accidents, therefore, should not be overlooked in modern forensic sciences. This article gives a clear narrative about several problems in connection with the investigation of the injured from traffic accidents in Shanghai, 1985.
