THE RECOVERY, AMPLIFICATION AND TYPINO OF SPERM HLA- DQa DNA FROM HE-STAINED SMEARS

Abstract

Abstract: The availability and reliability of the DNA extraction and typing of sperm fixed on the HEstained smears was studied. The results of the test on 20 smears demonstrate that the sperm can be recovered from the slides and used for the PCR - hased typing of HLA--DQa gene.The typing results are accurate. It shows that a HE-stained smear containing sperms is a good resource of evidence sample for DNA analysis.
