Abstract: To establish the individual characters, the crossed immunoelectophoresis (CIEP) was used to find the difference of serum proteins between two persons. For comparison the height of peaks of CIEP pattern was measured and the ratio of height of two corresponding peaks was calculated. Taking the ratios of eight pairs of corresponding peaks as the value of variate, coefficient of variation (CV) was calculated by principle of statistics. Forty pairs of patterns of the same origin and fifty five pairs of those from different origin were compared. The result indicates that with 10-days-old stains there is no lap betw een the distribution of CV of two groups of same and different origin.
