The Application of DNA Amplification in vitro to Sex Determination of Human Bone and Tooth

Abstract

Abstract: To determine the sex of Human bone and tooth,the DYZI and the SRY,the Y specific sequences were amplified by Polymerase Chain Reaction(PCR) with two sets of Primers and DNA isolated from bones and tooth.Results showed that;1 DNA isolation can be finished within 1 hour and 4 hours for bone and tooth respeCtively; 2.The PCR procedures can be achieved within 1.5 hours,3.The quality of DNA from tooth is better than it from bone,4.The sex determination of DNA from boilled bone failed of success because of the DNA severe dead-adation.
