Detection on morphie concentration changes of postmortem cardiac blood in rats by HPLC
LI LIHUA ET AL (DEPARTMENT OF FORENSIC MEDICINE;KUNMING MEDICAL COLLEGE. YUNNAN 00)
    1997, 0(2): 65-67+7.
    Abstract ( 1883 )
This study used HPLC to detect the concentrationof morphine in cardiac blood of rats treated withintramuscular injection Of therapeutic and toxicdose morphine. The results Showed, in the groupwith therapeutic dose morphine, the cardiac bloodconcentration of morphine incraesed significantlywithin 96h after death (p<0.ol),these increase Ofthe cardiac blood morphine correlated well withtime. In the groUP with toxic dose morphine, thecardiac blood concentration of morphine did notchange Obviously within 12h after death. butincreased gradually 24h.48h,96h after death (P<0.01). however, the morphine Changes intensity isnot more significant than the therapeutic dose. Thisstudy proved that the dose Of morphine injectedantemortem affects directly the postmortem Cardiacblood morphine levels. It is analysed for thepossible mechanism of the Change.

JL DU CYJIANG BING;GUO JIN YUAN(DEPARTMENT OF FORENSICMEDICINE.SUN-YAL SEN UNIVERSITY OF MEDICINESCIENCE; ZHONGSHAN ROAD;GUANGZHOU 00)
    1997, 0(2): 68-70+1.
    Abstract ( 1907 )
Sex determination is carried out by simultaneouslyamplifying a X-specific and Y-specific DNA frag-ments which are 106hp and 112hp longrespectively in one PCR reaction using one pair OfPrimers which are SPecific to the first intron Of theX-Y homoIogous gene AmeIogenin.PCR productsare Separated on a PAGE electroPhoresis followedby visulization using silver stain. All the bloodStain.muscle, saliva and hair samples gave correctsex determination.Less than or as little as 50pgtemplate DNA and the 16-year-old blood stain allcan achieve satisfactory amplification. The resultsshowed that the method discribed in this paper is arapid, sensitive, reliable and easily manipulated sextest highly adapted to forensic SPecimen especiallythose petrified and degraded.

Postmortem distribution of morphiue in rats
XU ZHENGBO. ET AL (DEPARTMENT OF FORENSICPATHOLOGY.FACULTY OF FORESIC MEDICINE;WESTCHINA UNIVERSITY OF MEDICAL SCIENCE;SICHUAN00)
    1997, 0(2): 71-72+7.
    Abstract ( 2057 )
The purpose Of the StUdy is to investigate the dis-tribution Of morphine in rats by immunohis-tochemistry(PAP).The results ShOWed that thecontent of morphine in CNS was Of little Change, and the content Of morphine in other tissuedecresed with prolonged time.Morhine inintraperitioneal fatty tissue ahowed a great increaseafter death. The study demonstrated that postmortendisrtabution Of morphine in rats had signifiCantChangeS at different time after .It may providea reason for better Choice of postmortem tissue indetecting addicts of morphine after death.

    Abstract ( 2050 )
In analysis oftympanitio membrane injury,we havecompared conventional otoscope with myringoscope and found that the myringoscope has anadvantage over the conventional Otoscope.Themyringoscope can Show the whole tympaniticmembrans. the positions, Shapes and characteristicsof tympanitic membarme injuries more clearly.Thepictures ofmyringophotography could be preservedand offered to court as an impprtant forensicmedical evidence.

    1997, 0(2): 75-76+1.
    Abstract ( 1722 )
Auditory brainstem responses(ABR) to clickstimula-tion are recorded and analyzed in thepatient with truamatic injury to ear.The resultsshowed that the hearing loss(conductive hearingloss of sersorineural hearing loss) can be detectedby ABR with the stimulation of pure tone in therange of 2000 to 4000 Hz.It is indicated that theABR would be an useful methods to evaluate thepatient.s hearing impairment and the disabilityextent.

    1997, 0(2): 77-78+1.
    Abstract ( 1620 )
A rapid qualitative and quantitative analysis offluoroacetatamide and fluoroacetic acid in rodenticides by capillary gaschromatography wasdescribed in this paper.lsoamyl alcohol was used asthe internal standard. The determination curves offluoroacetatamide and fluoroacetic acid inrodenticides were linear in the ranges of 0.06254mg/ml and 0.625-20mg/ml.The detection limits offluoroacetatamide and fluoroacetic acid were31.25ug/ml(32.5ng) and 625ug/ml (625ng). 87.5%and 30% of rodenticides sold in Taiyuan groundmarket from May.1995 to May.1996 containfluoroacetatamide and fluoroacetic acid.

    1997, 0(2): 85-87+1.
    Abstract ( 1794 )
This article analysis the usage of B'-Scan in somespecial cases in clinical forensic medicine, such asthe injuries of eyeball, urinosexual organs (includekidney.ureter, urinary bladder, urethra penis, scrotum, testis, uterus et al) liver-gallbladder-spleen, thyreoidand parathyreoid, and the position and course ofthe scars in the deep of the body. The resultindicates that the B'-Scan can be used to displaynot only the morphological changes, such as thepositions. characteristics and degrees of the injuries, but also the function when to be used combiningwith the Doppler.
