    On the Distribution of Acidic Proline-Rich Proteins (APRPs)Phenotypes in Chinese Han Population (Liaoning Area)

    The distribution of salivary acidic Proline-rich Proteins Phenotypes were studied using the ultra-thin PAGIEF technique in 258 Chinese Han population in Liaoning area. The gene frequencies were as follows: Pr~1 0.8101, Pr~20.1899; Db~+0.0416, Db~-0.9584; Pa~+0.1717, Pa~-0.8283; PIF~+0.6647, PIF~-0.3353. The observed numbers of the phenotypes were in good agreement with the expeced numbers under the Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium. The gene frequenciet among the Chinese and other populations were compared.

    Today, DDVP is still commonly encountered by forensic toxicologists in China. In this paper, the possibility by HS-GC to determine DDVP in blood has been investigated, the method given allows simple and rapid procedure, excellent linearity in the range of 0.2-22ug/ml blood with requal to 0.998, and a detection limit 0.2ug/ml blood. The results from HS-GC were confirmed by those from conventional GC.

    Coronary Artery Injury to Postischemic Canine Myocardium.

    To further demonstrate reperfusion injury to post-ischemic canine myocardium, the present experiments were performed to investigate the effecof myocardial ischemia on activity and localization of succinic dehydrogenase(SDH) in the groups of occluding left anterior descending coronary artery for 60 and 90 min. followed by reopening for 120 min. by enzyme histochemistry and cytochemistry. SDH activity decreased in the group of coron ary occlusion for 60 min., especially for 90 min. Reperfusion for 120 min. resulted in much decrease of SDH activity and chaotically extended distribution. In conclusion, reperfusion causes much more severe injury to the postischemic canine myocardium, i.e, reperfusion injury, which may be, considered as one of the leading causes of cardiac death in forensic pathology.

    The statistical analysis of identification in 134 cases of eye injuries is reported in this article. In this series of eye injuries, 112cases are male, 22cases are female. Age is 8 to 65, most of them are 20-40years(61.9%). Most of injurants are fist and foot(57.5%) .40 cases are serious injury .94 cases are slight injury. The author has discusced the cause of that left eye injury is more than right eye and double eye injury, relationship between injurant and site of injury, degree of best identification time. Effective method of examining simulation blindness and principle deciding the best time of identification are put forward.

    The phenotype distribution of human red cell EAP, PGD, ADA and Ak in Shanghaiese was studied using starch gel simultaneous electrophoresis. Among 537 fresh blood samples, the freqnencies of EAP phenotypes were: EAP B74.3%, EAP BA 21.4%, EAP A 3.9%, EAP CB 0.4%, EAP CA 0% and EAP C 0%. Among 358 fresh blood samples, the freqnencies of ADA phenotypes were: ADA 1-1 83%, ADA 2-1 16%, ADA 2-2 1%. Among 385 fresh blood samples, the freqnencies of PGD phenotypes were: PGD 1-1 78%, PGD 2-1 21%, and PGD 2-2 1%. Among 296 fresh blood samples, the freqnencies of AK phenotypes were: AK 1-1 100%. This paper described a few improvements compared with conventional method. And we studyed that some blood stain samples could keep how long time under room temperature on 4 isoenzymes.
