Abstract: The cardiac pathological changes of three electrocuted cases as well as a control group of three cases of death from non-electrocution causes were studied. The study concentrated on the histological changes in myocardium, conducting system, vessel, nerve and aorta. As contrast with literature reports, we found out two of the electrocuted cases with the voltage of 220V showed no necrosis in heart but the blood cells and vessel abnormalities. The third case died of electrocution of voltage of 75V showed apparent changes including necrosis and fiberization of myocardium. During the cardiac pathologic study in order to avoid the artificial positivity it is necessary to make a controlled study and apply more than one staining method.
