A study of meperidine distribution in hair

Abstract

Abstract: Objective To explore meperidine distribution in hair.Methods By guinea pig testing which guinea pig was administrated meperidine by intraperitoneal injection,to study the time course of meperi dine in guinea pig hair and the relationship between administration dose and drug concentration in hair.Results Guinea pig was administrated meperidine by intraperitoneal injection once a day for7times,meperidine in hair can be tested at the fourth day after the first injection,the top concentration occurred at the eighth day after the first injection and meperidine in hair can ' t be tested at the fifth day after the last injection.The concentrations of meperidine in hair were significantly related with administration dose.Conclusion It was used for evaluating the analysis results of case.
