THE USE OF DIFFERDNT PHASE OF HEPATIC GLYCOGEN UNDER MICROSCOPE TO ESTIMATE THE TIME OF DEATH
INSTITUTE OF FORENSIC SEIENCES;MINISTRY OF JUSTICE. CHEN SHUN HWA;LENG XING HUI;WONG JING ZHONG;HUANG XIOU HUA
    1987, 0(4): 1-5.
    Abstract ( 1883 )
After death, the lysis and disappearance of hepatic glycogen of the liver are closely linked with the time. All kind of sudden death, inclouding the death by violence, acute drug poisoning and drowing. Within 3 hours after death, the no obvious hepatic gycogen loss can be seen. Between 3-12 hours after death, the hepatic glycogen loss was recognized in the form of macula (likeplaque which centred around the interlobular portal area. The glycogen macula-like losing area gredually expand during this phase. In the mean time, the activity of Kupffer's cell became vivid. It gulfed (phago- cytosis) a lot of glycogen into its cytoplasm. Between 12-24 hours after death, the hepatic glycogen diffused into the form of small granules all over the hepatic lobule and the amout of glycogen was redused to only one fifth that of the immediate death. 70 hours after death, the hepatic glycogen was disappeared completely. However, the exhausting death, for example, death by hunger, the phase of lysis and disappearance of hepatic glycogen is different from that of menti- oned above, usually, there are no or very little hepatic glycogen in the cytopla- sm of liver cell at all.

On the Distribution of Kidd, Duffy, Diego, and Kell Blood Group Systems in Chinese
    JIA JINGTAO;WANG XIULING;DEPARTMENT OF FORENSIC SEROLOGY;FACULTY OF FORENSIC MEDICINE;CHINA MEDICAL UNIVERSITY;SHENYANG
    1987, 0(4): 6-11.
    Abstract ( 1979 )
This paper reported the distribution of Kidd, Dully, Diego, and Kell blood group systems examined in 150 random donor from Chinese Han population in Liaoning area. The observed numbers of the phenotypes were in good agreement with the number expected under the Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium. The gene fre- que ncies of each systems are: Jk~a 0.3767, Jk~b 0.6233;Fy~a 0.8413, Fy~b 0.0428, Fy 0.1159; Di~a 0.0478, Di 0.9522; K 0.0134, k 0.9866, Kp~a 0.0034, Kp~b 0.9966, kKp~a 0.0034, kKp~b 0.9833, KKp~b 0.0133. The exclusion probability of parentage (EPP) and the Discrimination power (DP) of Kidd system is the highest among four blood group systems examined. There was no significant differences in gene frequencies of each systems among Chinese Han population in diferent area and among the Chinese and other Mongoloid populations.

Study of Distribution of ABO Blood Group D Antigen Hp Phenotype and The Secrete State in Qiang Population Sichuan
CHENG GUODI;THE DEPARTMENT OF FORENSIC SEROLOGY WEST CHINA UNIVERSITY OF MEDICAL SCIENCES DIRECTED BY WU MEIYUN
    1987, 0(4): 12-16.
    Abstract ( 2006 )
The distribution of ABO blood group D antigen HP phenotype and the secr- te state in Qian population 1iving in Sichuan province was investigated. The ABO typing and the determination of secrete state were carried out in 400 cases, while the detection of D antigens and the Hp phenotyping in 474 cases. The dis- tribution of ABO groups was as follows: O=36%; A=24%; B=31.5%; and AB =8.5%. Secretor was 90.75%, non-secretor 9.25%, All of 474 samples examined were D position. The distribution of Hp phenotypes was Hp1-15.06%; Hp2-1 40.93%; and Hp2-254.01%. No HpO was found. The distribution of ABO, Hp, D, secrete state in Qian population was compared with that in Han population and other minorities living in other area.

Experimental Study on the Metabolic Transportation of Potassium and Sodium Ions of Blood Cells Vitro
    WANG ERWEN;HE GENGLAN;QUE TINGZHI
    1987, 0(4): 17-20+5.
    Abstract ( 1936 )
The study of relationship between the metabolic transportation of K~+ and Na~+ in blood cells of normal human beings and experimental time by Simulating experimental method in 32 cases is presented. The concentration of K~+ on the outside fluid of blood cells increased with the extension of experimental time. The concentration of Na~+ had no visible change from experimental time 0 to 8 th hr. and then gradually decreased. The ratio of the concentration of Na~+ to K~+ decreased with the increase of experimental time. The ratio was from 32.8±1.6 at experiment time 0 hr, to 15.0±1.0 at 32nd hr. There was a non-linear func- tional relationship between the concentration of K~+ and Na~+ on the outside fluid of the blood cells and the experiment time. Therefore, in the whole exper- iment period, the change of the ratio of the concentration of Na~+ to K~+ was non-linear functional relationship, too. After the death of human beings, there was the same relationship between the metabolic transportation of K~+ or Na~+ and the post-mortem time. If we can improve the accuracy of determinations and avoid the effects of the differencds among individual hodies, we will be able to decide the post-mortem time by determining the change of the concentration of K~+ and Na~+ on the outside fluid of the blood cells.

THE USE OF TEETH ATTRTION IN AGE ESTIMATION
    SONG HONGWEI;JIA JINGTAO;(FACULTY OF FORENSIC MEDICINE;CHINA MEDICAL UNIVERSITY;CHINA)
    1987, 0(4): 21-26.
    Abstract ( 2298 )
The data in this paper was gathered from 880 cases in Liaoning Province in China, 544 of which are from cities, mainly from Shenyang, and the rest from rural area, mainly from Panshan county. The age of these cases range from 13 to 60 years old. The normal teeth have 23672, dental carries 204 and other teeth 764. Based on the new graduation standard for teeth attrition, the auther aut- hor selected one of the upper and lower jaw teeth. After the numerical values for all the degrees were determined, they were grouped 14 items and 84 to 98 categories. 10 equations on the estimation of age have been established by app- lying the Theory of Quantification Type I and the multiple stepwise regression to the newly established mathematic model, and by the aid of computer science as well. In order to obtain the convenience of usage, these equations have also been turned into 10 tables in estimation of age. The correlation coefficients are 0.92 to 0.97. The errors and reliability of the equations are different from one another as the influential factors (sex, place) are confined to different extent. In order to confirm the reliability of the equations, the equations were examined by 25 skulls. The rate of coincidence of the tested samples with the real age foll- ows as: 72% in±3 years error, 88% in±5 years error and 96% ±7 years error.

The Social Harmfulness of Xinjiang Cannabis Made in Indigenous Methods and Its Test
YANG ZUO SHENG;HAO WEI;INSTIUTE OF CRIMINAL SIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY OF XINJIANG
    1987, 0(4): 27-30.
    Abstract ( 16130 )
This paper discusses the social harmfulness of Xinjiang cannabis made in indigenous methods and gives an systematically qualitative analysis to it. The result gained the best extracting method from the natural cannabis made in in- digenous methods…… the developer for cannabis. This kind of developer' s sen- sitivity reaches 0.5-2μg. Using GLC and HPLC can analysize and defines the cannabis products made in indigenous methods quickly and exactly. It may pro- vide a quick and reliable test methods for prohibiting cannabis drugs in future days.
