    By means of electron microscopic enzy- me—histochemical method,we studied ouabain-sensitive,potassium-dependent ATPase in rat epidermal incised wound.The enzyme reac- tion activities on the inner side of membranes of capillary and outer root sheath of epidermal decreased in antemortem injury.ATPase activities were not changed in wound of postmortem injury. This study has important value in diagnosing injury and early age of wound.

    An experimental study of myocardial damage was induced in Wistar rats following noradrenaline infusion(20 ug/kg body wt/minute),for a period of 90 minutes daily for three consecutive days,the animals were killed after some minutes(acute phase),7 days(subacute phase),30-90 days(chron- ic phase),observed by histopathological,myoglobin immunohisto-chemical and ultrastructural me- thods.The results demonstrated multiple focal necrosis and myoglobin defects of myocytes,my- ofibrillar fragmentation and dissolution in the acute phase,this morphological feature simulated human cases of myocardial infarction without coronary occlusion.After acute phase,focal atrophy and scars of myocardium,active proliferaton of fi- bre(?) asts and neo-collageous fibrils infiltrated in r(?)crofic myocytes are present,this feature si rula- ted the early cardio-myopathy.

    Blood samples were analyzed for ethanol,aceta- dehyde and acetate by head space gas chroma- tography using a porapak S column.Acetate was esterified to methyl acetate simply by the addition of acidified methanol.After the oral administration of ethanol to two healthy human subjects,the concentration versus time profiles of blood ethanol, acetadehyde and acetate were determind.The ad- vantage of the method is its speed and simplicity.

    The authors used rabbits to engage experiments to research the relationship between the changes of pH value and the compositions of gas in corpse's blood(blood in neck vein)and the postmortem time. The compositions of gas included the partial pressure of oxygen,the partial pressure of carbon dioxide,saturation degree of oxygen,HCO,and base excess.The study has reference value in estimating the time after death in forensic practice.

    The development of instrumental analysis supp- lies an advanced way for the examination of trace material evidence and greatly improves the level of criminal investigation.Thermal analysis is an important area of instrumental analysis,it is the technique which measures the relation between the physical properties of matter and temperature under the program controlled temperature.Thermal ana- lysis technology,such as TG,DTA,DSC and EGA has been applied in the examination of trace material evidence.Thermal analysis may be used for identification of textile,soil,adhesive,oil,plastic and gum etc.
